1930-1961 It was under Pastor Melchert's direction that the present Christian Crusaders' radio program was launched. The nearby Petersen Brothers Funeral Home was purchased and remodeled into the Parish House for Trinity in 1945. In 1968 the property to the east was purchased and a gym was added to the church.
The education of young people, as well as adults, has also been an important mission of Trinity.
In the early years, the mission of the congregation focused on mission work outside the Waterloo community. Today, the mission is not only with the church at large, but also with the community that now surrounds Trinity.
